To be contained. Porcelain objects by Aldo Bakker for Sèvres
Exhibition at Villa Noailles, Hyeres, France
July 5th - September 29th
A new series of porcelain objects made in commission of Sèvres will be presented at Villa Noailles, Hyeres. Each object questions the archetypical characteristics of the pourer: a container, a spout and a handle. These elements are enlarged, reduced, and merged, resulting in objects that might only give a suggestive representation of the act of pouring. The exhibition is part of the 8th International Festival of Design. Please read here an article that appeared on design.nl about the exhibition.
